Really good stay

jacuzzi tub suite carpet

the bathroom included a jacuzzi tub, which worked well after a slow initial fill. i noticed the breakfast was provided next door at a sister hotel.

the carpet in my suite showed some wear, needing a deep clean, which i hope gets addressed.

Breakfast featured smoked salmon with scrambled eggs, containing a generous portion of salmon. This elevated the start of the day. many choices were available at breakfast, ranging from smoked salmon to scrambled eggs. the sister hotel offers a buffet with cereal, toast, pastries and fruit.

The luxury suite was spacious, with an enormous bed for a restful sleep. This was welcome after a long day of travel. the room included thoughtful amenities, such as tea and coffee with decaf options and hot chocolate. soft towels are supplied .

staff were very polite and helpful, doing their best to answer all my questions . the staff ensured my car could remain in the car park even after check-out. bus service runs close to the hotel.

charming stay

large room efficient system

i appreciated the size of the room at the hotel. the self check-in system worked efficiently. being a frequent visitor to the sister hotel, i was kinda surprised by the room size.

the bathroom wasn't clean , i saw splatters of something on the walls. there was dust on surfaces, and the toilet seat needs replacement. i think more attention to cleanliness would improve the stay.

dirty windows limited menu

the upgrade to a downstairs suite was convenient, particularly the ability to leave my car in the car park until lunchtime after checking out..

I found the lack of staff presence disappointing. There were no food facilities or bar. it was quite a letdown as i anticipated something more lavish for a new year's eve stay, yet the room had dirty windows, black mold, and old cobwebs. a neighboring room hosted a party lasting until 7 am. breakfast involved table service with a limited menu and juice i suspected to be from the supermarket.
